YOUR ROLE
As a Principal you will be inspired to lead a joy-filled community where students staff and families can flourish within a Catholic context. Your leadership will enable the vision of the school to be realised creating an environment where everyone can reach their full potential. The role of the Principal is one of the most important roles across the MACS system as their faith and educational leadership enables the vision of the school to be realised. This role will work in collaboration with MACS staff members local Parish Priest and the broader School community to achieve the identified goals of the School.
ABOUT ST LUKES SCHOOL WANTIRNA
St Lukes Primary School is situated in Wantirna in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. St Lukes is a vibrant and diverse community that welcomes all families providing students with many opportunities to demonstrate and deepen their faith through social justice activities and supporting the Mini Vinnies program.
St Lukes Primary School provides a strong sense of wellbeing belonging and security where students are given every opportunity to be affirmed in their dignity and worth and assisted to grow to the fullness of their potential.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
St Lukes is a vibrant and diverse community and their aim is to create an atmosphere in which all who experience the community may grow in their own richness fullness and integrity.
The values that the school embraces are informed by the gospel teachings and they encourage their students to act with integrity and show respect and empathy for others.
Parental involvement is always welcomed actively encouraged and valued. Some of the ways parents are involved may include School Advisory Council Parents & Friends Committee fundraising and excursions.
The Principal and dedicated staff lead a student cohort of 165.
MACS is seeking a Principal who will continue to nurture the strong relationships and actively engage with the community.
