Job Description

Contract Duration: 55 Weeks
Location: Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility Belcourt North Dakota
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services
- Review medication orders for appropriateness interactions and accuracy
- Utilize ScriptPro Pyxis and other software to enter and dispense prescriptions
- Counsel patients on medication usage and discharge prescriptions
- Maintain records and compliance with DEA requirements for Schedule II drugs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication practices
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. state
- Fully credentialed and in good standing with no disciplinary actions
- Strong communication skills with sensitivity to Native American communities
- Able to work independently and maintain professional hygiene standards
- Proof of vaccination (COVID-19 Influenza Measles Rubella)
- Temporary assignment (55 weeks from award date)
- Must meet JCAHO HCFA and IHS standards
- Housing and per diem may be available (depending on contract terms)
