The Opportunity: We are actively seeking motivated and customer-oriented Dutch-Speaking Travel Agents for our Porto office. In this vital role you will play a key part in assisting clients with their travel planning and booking arrangements providing extensive support for a seamless and enjoyable journey. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Interact with Dutch and English-speaking clients to understand their travel needs preferences and budget for various types of trips (e.g. leisure business group travel).
- Itinerary Development: Research propose and customize travel plans including flights accommodations transportation tours and activities.
- Booking Management: Secure reservations for flights hotels car rentals cruises and other travel components using various reservation systems.
- Information Provision: Deliver accurate and current information regarding travel regulations visa requirements health advisories and destination specifics.
- Problem Resolution: Address pre-travel inquiries offer assistance during travel (e.g. re-bookings cancellations emergency support) and efficiently resolve post-travel concerns with empathy.
- Sales Enhancement: Identify opportunities to offer additional travel services or packages that will enrich the customers travel experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of client interactions bookings and payments within our CRM and booking systems.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing courteous professional and effective service throughout the entire travel process.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously update knowledge on travel destinations products and services to offer expert advice to clients.
What We Are Looking For:
- Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Dutch (both spoken and written) is essential. Strong professional working proficiency in English is also required for internal communication and training.
- Customer Focus: A genuine desire to help people a strong dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and a keen interest in travel.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities coupled with a clear patient and empathetic approach. The capacity to convey information clearly and persuasively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to actively listen analyze situations and think critically to find effective solutions for travel-related challenges.
- Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple bookings and client requests concurrently.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various booking systems online travel platforms and general computer applications.
- Adaptability: The ability to learn quickly adjust to new processes and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Team Collaboration: A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
