As a Human Resource Analyst 3 you serve as a labor relations analyst for specific field sites for the DMVA. Your duties will include negotiating with collective bargaining units associated with the DMVA collaborating with the DMVA Safety Coordinator and Training Officer to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed and investigating allegations of employee misconduct. In this position you will gather information and create a report of findings to assist in determining an appropriate level of discipline. You will also compile and analyze sick leave usage to help establish an appropriate level of discipline and review grievance information to determine if the union has presented a logical alternative in a timely manner. You can expect to investigate employee arrests and criminal reports to determine if action is necessary regarding the Governors Code of Conduct. Additionally you will provide supervisors with training and development regarding labor relations issues and assist supervisors in employee performance management.
