Job Description
Homestead Village is a thriving non-profit CARF-CCAC accredited Life Plan Community located just outside vibrant Downtown Lancaster. We are seeking highly caring enthusiastic & passionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) who enjoy Life Enrichment Activities to join our compassionate community as we enhance independence and dignity for all our Residents!
Location:
- Westvue; PC Memory Support; 13 residents per household
Base Pay: Determined based upon years of experience starting rate with no experience or med tech certification is $15.75; plus applicable shift & weekend differentials.

Shift/Weekend Differentials:
- $1.50 additional from 3:00pm-11:00pm
- $0.75 additional from 11:00pm-7:00am
- $1.25 additional on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Life Enrichment
- CPR/1st Aid/AED certified or ability to become certified.
- Ability to communicate with residents families and staff.
- Able to perform the essential job functions of the job description.
- Demonstrate flexibility.
- Satisfactory completion of the Personal Care Home Direct Care Staff Person Training Program
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Establish respectful warm relationships with residents.
- Assist resident with all activities of daily living as needed.
- Participate in development of residents Support Plan.
- Facilitate recreational/life enhancement activities.
- Facilitate dining/light meal preparations.
- Collect data such as vital signs as indicated.
- Housekeeping and laundry as needed and assigned.
- Observe client and immediately report changes in condition to Supervisor.
- Attend all required staff meetings and complete monthly education on Relias by dates due.
- Adhere to all PCH policies and procedures federal state and local regulations and OSHA safety standards.
- Document interventions activities observations etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
