DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will be responsible for welding brazing and cutting both ferrous and non-ferrous metals to support various projects ranging from fences and highway bridges to engines and utility distribution systems. Your duties will involve exercising independent judgment to determine the most effective work methods and procedures prioritizing tasks and collaborating with your supervisor to decide whether to execute work in-house or through contracts ensuring optimal utilization of our equipment. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment materials and related shop equipment to repair maintain or fabricate parts equipment or structures; or
- Completion of a three-year high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment materials and related shop equipment to repair maintain or fabricate parts equipment or structures; or
- Completion of an approved welder apprentice program;or
- A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:- This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Drivers License.
Additional Requirements:- You must have experience with using operating and maintaining Mig Welder Spool Gun Oxy-Acetylene Torch and Plasma Cutter.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
