About the Role

You will work with the Safeguarding Partnerships Manager and other team members in ensuring that the Safeguarding Partnerships Business Office effectively provides the support required by the Leicestershire & Rutland Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) and the Leicestershire & Rutland Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) its Executive groups Subgroups and any groups formed to undertake key areas of business.

You will be working as part of a great team who support one another with our multi-agency partners across Leicestershire & Rutland these include agencies like the Police Social Care Health agencies and many more including those in the Voluntary and Community Sector. On occasions attending events to promote the work of the Partnerships.

You will be managing/coordinating Safeguarding Adults Reviews Local Children Safeguarding Practice Reviews Childrens rapid reviews and Domestic Homicide Reviews from the outset through to the publication of reports and managing the dissemination of learning resulting from them. Liaison with families who are the subject of reviews.

You will be supporting various subgroups in activities around audits procedures performance and any task and finish groups arising from them.

Occasionally you may also attend partnership/board meetings as required.
