Hours: 40 hours per week - Core hours 10:00am to 4:00pm working hours either 8:00am to 4:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate EC&I (Electrical Control and Instrumentation) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and instrumentation equipment in our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the efficient operation of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and repair electrical control and instrumentation systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical and instrumentation systems and perform repairs as needed Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning of equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support ongoing projects and upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties
Day-to-day:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support ongoing projects
- Document maintenance activities and update equipment records
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in electrical control or instrumentation technology
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing electrical control and instrumentation systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
- Knowledge of DCS ESD and PLC based control systems
