Title: Food Service Assistant- North Campus
Reports to: Principal/Food Service Manager
Job Goal: Perform routine food service activities related to the setting up of serving areas and the serving of food to students and staff; maintain cleanliness of food service area.
Performance Responsibilities: Accept food delivery daily from local vendors. Prepare food service facilities for the serving of food; count and set out an appropriate number of food trays; prepare the serving area for the serving of meals. Maintain work areas and serving areas in a clean sanitary and safe condition. Maintain unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers and garbage. Maintain Milk Cooler counts of milk and temperatures daily and report to South Campus Food Service Department. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain regular attendance.
Job Qualifications: Understand and follow oral and written directions. Work cooperatively with others. The ability to successfully complete a criminal history and background check Must have strong commitment to Catholic education and model behavior in accordance with Holy Family Regional School mission and philosophy. Understand and abide by the Archdiocese of Detroit contract for employment and the specifications it contains regarding the expectations of a Catholic school employee.
