Production Co-ordinator

We have partnered with a growing manufacturer who are looking for a production coordinator to join their committed team in Northampton.
As a key part of the production operation youll help manage the flow of work between departments process essential documentation and occasionally assist with simple production floor tasks. Youll need to be organised proactive and adaptableready to support both the office and production teams as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase and sales orders accurately
- Organise production schedules job sheets and dispatch documents
- Maintain internal filing systems and assist with invoicing tasks
- Track inventory and update stock levels using internal systems
- Liaise with clients suppliers and in-house teams to ensure smooth operations
- Handle queries professionally and respond promptly
- Communicate clearly and effectively across departments
- Assist with component prep product labelling and packaging
- Help with quality checks and dispatch during peak times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong administrative skills with great attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and general IT systems
- Ability to prioritise tasks stay organised and work under pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to assist on the production floor when needed
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Experience in manufacturing upholstery procurement or logistics
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems delivery schedules or bills of materials
- Understanding of stock control or product tracking systems
