Job Description

Were now seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team on a 9 month fixed-term basis with the chance for the role to go permanent. You will play a critical role in shaping employee experience and supporting strategic HR initiatives.

Tasks

The Role:
As an Employee Relations Specialist youll act as a trusted partner to managers and employees across the business. You will provide expert guidance on complex employee relations cases support organisational change and lead on a range of people projects. This is a hands-on strategic role ideal for someone who is confident in HR best practices employee engagement and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and coach managers on a range of HR matters including employee relations performance management absence and wellbeing.
  • Manage and resolve complex ER cases in line with employment law and best practice.
  • Support the delivery of HR initiatives such as talent development DEI workforce planning and engagement surveys.
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects including policy development systems improvement and change management.
  • Analyse HR data and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

Requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role with strong ER knowledge and case management skills.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Passionate about creating inclusive supportive work environments.
