Job Description
Required Skills: Elastic Web Services on their EWS team. EWS maintains several tools including their Provider Carrier Entity Search and they need a senior engineer with Go Java and Elastic Search.
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java/Go Elasticsearch) Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Visa: USC OR GC Duration: Contract (Long-term potential) Job Summary:We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Elastic Web Services (EWS) team supporting tools such as the Provider Carrier Entity Search. This role requires strong backend development experience with a focus on Elasticsearch DSL Java or Go and cloud-native technologies. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and deploy scalable enterprise-level applications in a fast-paced fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design build and maintain backend services using Elasticsearch DSL Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus) or Go

Collaborate with architects BAs and engineers to deliver enterprise software solutions

Develop APIs business logic and service integration layers

Work within AWS environments integrating tools like Kafka and MongoDB/DocumentDB

Participate in code reviews troubleshooting and tier 3 support

Ensure software quality through testing documentation and best practices

Elasticsearch DSL expert-level proficiency

Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus) or Go solid backend development

AWS cloud-native development and deployment

Kafka real-time data streaming experience

MongoDB or DocumentDB NoSQL data management

Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and enterprise patterns

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

4 6 years of relevant software engineering experience

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Experience with UI/UX or full-stack development

Familiarity with microservices security and observability
