Job Description
Job Title: Head of Compliance / Director Fintech NBFC
Location: Mumbai / Bangalore
CTC: Up to 35 LPA
About the Company:
A well-funded fintech NBFC offering a diverse range of financial products across lending insurance and investments. With a strong commitment to compliance and regulatory excellence we are looking for a leader to spearhead our compliance function and ensure seamless adherence to industry regulations.
About the Role:
As the Head of Compliance / Director you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance frameworks ensuring regulatory adherence with RBI and other governing bodies and proactively mitigating risks. You will work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders to drive a strong compliance culture within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with RBI SEBI IRDAI and other regulatory bodies applicable to fintech NBFCs.
Develop and implement compliance policies risk frameworks and governance structures.
Monitor and audit internal processes to ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage all compliance-related audits and inspections.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance integration across lending insurance and investment products.
Stay updated on industry regulations and proactively implement necessary changes.
Drive data privacy cybersecurity AML/KYC policies and risk management strategies.
Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals ensuring a culture of ethical and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications & Experience:
8 years of experience in NBFC / Banking / Fintech compliance.
Strong understanding of RBI regulatory guidelines AML/KYC norms data privacy laws and corporate governance.
Proven experience in handling regulatory audits and implementing compliance strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work with regulators auditors and senior leadership.
Law Finance or Risk Management degree preferred.
