Job Description

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman has a great opportunity for a Material Handler to join our team in Ft. Wayne IN!

  • Pay: $21/Hr
  • Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Benefits include health dental vision tuition reimbursement paid time off and more

What will you do

- Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).

- Assist and participate in conducting cycle counts.

- Properly position bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.

- Allocate required parts to job/work orders and complete requisitions for parts shortages.

- Maintain mechanics materials and orders based on pick sheets.

- Pull and stage parts for job/work orders.

- Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.

- Responsible for the shipment of parts to customers.

- Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.

- Properly check-in and move vehicles delivered.

- Possess an understanding and exercise extreme care during the operation and movement of large parts while using the company lifting systems.

- Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.

- Must comply with the companys safety policies and clean initiative standards.

- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

What are we looking for

- Prior experience or forklift certifications in warehouse / materials environment desired.

- Experience with wireless inventory system is desired.

- Experience with UPS or FedEx shipments is desired.

- Basic computers skills.

- Good attention to detail.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Must pass a physical and criminal background check prior to employment.

- Must be able to work in multiple environments shop outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills experience relevant education or training and geographic location starting in the range of $15.56 - $21.01 USD per hour.
