SLRHS is seeking a 1.0 School Adjustment Counselor to promote student success.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
- counseling any student 1:1 or in groups
- participating in IEP meetings
- writing counseling goals and completing progress notes
- leading social skills groups
- collaborating with staff
- communicating with outside providers and regular two-way communication with families
- participating in weekly Support Team meetings.
Background in working with secondary students with and without disabilities is strongly encouraged.
A Masters in Social Work or School Counseling is preferred
An appropriate DESE license is required.
This is a fulltime benefits eligible position throught SLEA contract. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
