Job Description
We are hiring an In-House Estate & Medicaid Planning Attorney to provide legal strategy and hands-on support in the areas of estate planning long-term care planning and Medicaid structuring. In this client-facing role you will collaborate closely with our financial advisors and clients to help preserve and structure wealth for future generations.
The ideal candidate is articulate strategic and experienced in working with high-net-worth individuals and families. Youll play a vital role in advising clients on asset protection navigating Medicaid eligibility and ensuring their estate plans align with both legal requirements and personal goals
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance in estate and Medicaid planning
- Collaborate with financial advisors to structure client assets
- Draft and review legal documents related to trusts estates and long-term care
- Advise on strategies for wealth preservation and generational planning
- Build trusted relationships with clients and their families
Qualifications:
- JD and active license to practice law in New York
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in estate and/or Medicaid planning
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Strategic thinker with high attention to detail
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals is a strong plus
