In NC we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM) facility in Clayton NC is a 457000 square foot aseptic fill and finish site that is responsible for producing innovative injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Position
The Training Area Specialist II will develop & coach the creation & completion of Job Training Plans (JTPs) & other training materials. Coordinates & supports shop floor training process for partnered areas & assigns ISO train curriculums & modules & ensures documentation of training.
Relationships
Reports to Manager L&D.
Essential Functions
Ensures creation usage & effectiveness of JTPs & other training materials
Creates multimedia training content (e.g. audio/video simulators etc.) as assigned
Participates in the creation editing coaching & implementation of training program content & materials consistent with established training processes
Assists as a subject matter expert (SME) in application of established training processes Leads or participates in training development workshops locally or globally. Gathers relevant information from: SOPs SME interviews other DFP sites etc.
Establishes & drives usage of training tracking & escalation processes in alignment with
Ensures documentation of training in QMS to include ISOtrain
Conducts &/or coordinates training for partnered area. Ensures effectiveness of shop floor trainers
Reviews Change Requests (CRs) for impact on training. Then formulates thorough & efficient recommendations & assists with implementation to keep training current
Communicates & coordinates with other stakeholders (e.g. QA Shift Management teams Training Workshop members etc.) regarding training
Follows all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or advanced degree in a technically relevant field required
Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment regulated industry preferred preferred
Three (3) years of instruction systems design training development or directly equivalent experience preferred
Three (3) years of LMS experience preferred
Ability to read write & understand complicated product equipment & OEM documentation & standard operating procedures with great attention to detail required
Computer literacy experience with spreadsheets & presentation material required
Skilled in the use of provided multimedia applications required
Able to organize coordinate & track multiple tasks & events preferred
Able to work in an orderly & methodical manner including coaching others to do so preferred
Able to generate intelligible accurate & timely reports prioritize assignments & responsibilities preferred
Able to visually depict information & data to support & facilitate decision-making preferred
