POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION:Laundry Technician
LOCATION:Ottumwa IA
SALARY CLASS:Salary Non-Exempt
Division/Department:Pork
Responsibilities:
  • Run industrial washers and dryers
  • Heavy Lifting
  • Maintainstoreroom/laundry area in a clean orderly and sanitarycondition
  • Collect and redistributesupplies to employees
  • Data/order entry with accuracy
  • Provide backup for Knife Room Attendant/Storeroom Attendant
  • Perform various duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
  • Production and maintenance settings
  • Exposure to various chemicals machinery and knives
  • Slippery floors extreme temperature and loud noises(PPE required in these areas)
Education:
  • High School degree or equivalent required
Requirements Preferred:
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational time management skill
  • Demonstrates good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Great customer service skillsand professional demeanor
  • Computer knowledge required
