In this role you will be responsible for performing essential custodial and maintenance duties ensuring that our community spaces at the Erie Community Center the Erie Community Park Coal Creek Caf and the Ballpark at Erie remain clean functional and welcoming for all patrons.
All staff are expected to adhere to the Towns mission vision and values of TRUE.
ANTICIPATED WORK SCHEDULE:
Our ideal candidates will have availability in the afternoons evenings and weekends.
Part-time could also include early mornings nights and weekends as needed; not to exceed 130 hours/month on average. Schedule may vary depending on program specific needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS
Ability to obtain CPR First Aid and AED certification within three months of employment.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Knowledge of: To perform this job successfully an individual must demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills and must possess expert knowledge of the principles practices trends and methods of recreational operations and programming in a community setting. Knowledge of guidelines and regulations related to Department Town County State and Federal policies and procedures also required.
Skills in: Initiative and decision-making; verbal and written communication; supervision leadership and interpersonal relationships; basic financial methods of recreational programming; outstanding customer service to a diverse population; administrative functions; time management meeting deadlines responding to internal and external requests in a timely manner; the use of standard office equipment computers and various software programs; positive and professional working relationships with all Town staff and the community; conflict resolution; handling controversial issues; comprehending instruction correspondence and policies and procedures; problem solving; remaining composed in emergency situations and working effectively under stressful circumstances; performing CPR First Aid and AED to level of certification.
Environmental Factors:
Work is performed inside and outside a standard recreational facility environment. Work can include driving. Work may involve competing demands and performing multiple tasks.
Physical Factors:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift boxes and rental equipment of 50lbs or more.
