Job Description
Description of the role:
The Parts Department Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Minot Automotive Company is responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing shipments of parts and ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts
- Verify accuracy of shipments and resolve any discrepancies
- Label and organize parts in the warehouse
- Prepare outgoing shipments of parts
- Coordinate with suppliers and couriers for timely deliveries and pick-ups
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist in resolving issues related to lost or damaged shipments
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the availability of parts
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move 70 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Valid drivers license
- Insurable by companys underwriting standards
