Position Summary...
The Senior Manager Innovations will be responsible for working with the Product UX Engineering and Business teams to design and deliver a superior EV charging experience. This position reports to the Director Innovations and is an individual contributor role based in Bentonville Arkansas or San Bruno California.About the Team
The Walmart Energy Transformation team is a newly reimagined group reporting to the COO of Walmart US and the Chief Sustainability Officer focused on achieving Walmarts regenerative energy goals. Comprised of seasoned energy veterans the team collaborates across various Walmart departments to support decarbonization efforts. They are innovators and change agents with backgrounds in utilities banking clean energy consulting and more.
What youll do...
Pioneer Scalable EV Charging: Architect the foundational network for Walmarts EV charging systems directly impacting millions of Walmart customers and fleets.
Drive Transformative Efficiency: Leverage your expertise to seamlessly integrate systems delivering significant cost savings and accelerated feature deployment for Walmarts EV charging offering.
Shape Retail EV Mobility: Directly influence how a global retail leader integrates EV technology enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency and solidifying Walmarts position in mobility.
What youll bring
Familiarity with EV Charging Protocols: Knowledge of protocols such as the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) and ISO 15118 which are integral to EV charging communications.
Knowledge of Io T Applications: Experience with Internet of Things (Io T) technologies and their application in monitoring and managing EV charging stations.
Regulatory Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to EV charging infrastructure to ensure compliance and safety.
Vendor Management: Experience in collaborating with hardware and software vendors to procure implement and maintain necessary technologies for the NOC.
