SUMMARY OF ASSIGNMENT The role of this position is to work with Tier II and Tier III students one-on-one and in groups. This position will plan provide monitor and adjust targeted learning experiences of all Tier II and Tier III students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
data to determine missing skills. Provide data in a teacher-friendly format to inform staff members regarding instruction for Tier II and Tier III students.
data to group students with like needs and develop appropriate targeted intervention activities and establish specific planned goals.
and oversees the scheduling of intervention activities in collaboration with building principal.
guidance and direction to paraeducators delivering interventions.
and gathers data on each student on a regular basis to track progress.
and changes intervention groups as needed based on data.
positive relationships with parents of Tier II and Tier III students and keeps them informed of their students progress.
support from parents as needed providing specific instructions on how to best support the intervention plan.
instructional input to classroom teachers and other educators regarding the relationship between core instruction and implementation of the intervention plan.
district level intervention meetings and professional development as required to remain current on best practices. WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in the school setting. Teamwork and high productivity requirements create frequent extra hour days attendance at meetings before and after work. Must be able to talk and use fingers hands and arms and to listen carefully and focus while filtering out normal office noise. May involve negotiating steps ramps uneven surfaces and going outdoors in all types of weather to reach some classrooms or other buildings. Tolerance of occasional loud noises and ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time are required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Employment with Clover Park School District is conditional pending completion of a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint background check as required by RCW28A.400.303. (NOTE: All associated background check fees are the employees responsibility.) The fingerprint scan must be completed prior to the first day of employment.

Retirement and Deferred Compensation
Eligible employees are required to be a member of the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems Plan. For eligibility information check on the link to theDepartment of Retirement Systems web site.

These are supplemental retirement savings programs that allows you control over the amount of pre-tax salary dollars you defer as well as the flexibility to choose between multiple investment options.

*Clover Park School District total possible pay consists of base salary plus the following:
Building Centered Responsibility - 5 days
District Centered Responsibility - 2.5 days
Event Responsibility - 1 day
Attendance required for compensation of responsibility pay (building-centered district-centered and event).
