Job Description

Title: Student Support Specialist II - Ready to Work

Salary Range: $3612 Monthly

Contract Term Length:12 Months

Standard Hours:37.5

Work Location:On-Site

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

College: Ashland Community & Technical College

Campus Location: Ashland CTC College Drive

Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for a Student Support Specialist II in the Ready to Work grant.

Job Duties:

Administer Ready to Work pre-college initiative on assigned campuses
Recruit and retain KTAP GED/ABE students
Develop and deliver supportive services for KTAP GED/ABE
Provide job development and placement services for students
Assist in program/curriculum design for KTAP GED/ABE students
Complete all related reporting obligations

Minimum Qualifications:

The qualified applicant will have a minimum of two years of related experience and a bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products. A valid drivers license is required. This position travels approximately 20% of the time.
