As an Occupational Therapist at Fellowship Community in Whitehall youll take on a pivotal role in enhancing patient care through comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans. Collaborating closely with patients families and caregivers you will set relevant goals and regularly update treatment strategies. Your expertise will shine as you recommend and fabricate adaptive devices conduct home evaluations and provide essential training for families and caregivers.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities youll maintain accurate clinical records and actively participate in team meetings ensuring smooth coordination of patient discharge plans and referrals. To excel as an Occupational Therapist at Fellowship Community candidates should possess a robust set of skills and qualifications. A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is essential along with a professional license from the Commonwealth of PA or eligibility for licensure. Experience in adult and geriatric rehabilitation ideally ranging from six months to one year is vital for understanding the unique needs of this population. Proficiency in English both written and verbal is necessary for effective communication especially with patients who may have visual or hearing impairments. Intermediate computer skills are required to maintain clinical records and utilize software tools efficiently.
Strong clinical decision-making abilities and leadership skills for teaching mentoring and coaching are critical for fostering positive patient outcomes.
