Part-Time Universal Worker Assisted Living & Memory Care
Birkwood Village Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for a caring and dependable Part-Time Universal Worker to join our team! This role includes flexible 48 hour shifts and offers a starting wage of $15.00/hour or more based on experience.

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Universal Worker and/or Medication Manager to join our team. These positions are vital in ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care assistance and medication management in a warm home-like environment.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Support & Care
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and mobility support
- Foster meaningful connections with residents providing emotional and social engagement
- Support meal service light housekeeping and community activities
Medication Management
- Accurately administer medications per physician orders and maintain detailed records
- Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with the AL Director of Nursing and the Community Relations Director
Teamwork & Community
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure a positive living environment
- Uphold the highest standards of care safety and compliance with state regulations
- Demonstrate kindness commitment integrity accountability and collaboration in all interactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living caregiving or a related field preferred
- Medication Aide/Manager certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for senior care and a commitment to compassionate service
