Lead & Develop: Recruit train mentor and motivate a geographically dispersed sales team. Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Set the Vision: Define sales goals and strategies by forecasting and establishing annual sales targets. Drive alignment with broader company objectives.
Drive Performance: Monitor team KPIs and hold individuals accountable for achieving sales quotas maximizing product mix and maintaining profitability.
Stay Ahead: Keep a pulse on market trends supply and demand shifts competitor activities and economic conditions to inform sales strategy.
Communicate Clearly: Foster strong communication within your team and across departments to ensure seamless execution of business priorities.
What You Bring
35 years of successful people management experience with a proven ability to develop and grow individual contributors.
Prior experience in sales is required; industry experience in corrugated packaging is a strong plus.
Exceptional communication skillsboth written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management abilities with the discipline to prioritize and execute effectively.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
A motivational leadership style that encourages performance growth and collaboration.
Willingness to travel regularly between L&M locations and customer sites across the region.
