SUMMARY OF ASSIGNMENT
The paraeducator role plays a pivotal role in providing evidence-based student support in the area(s) identified during the evaluation and annual review of a students IEP. The position is highly specialized in that ongoing training is required within an MTSS model student goals are revisited often and monitoring of student growth is expected. Multiple adults are involved daily in some instances which requires flexibility and communication.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work yearare determined by thenegotiated agreement and the needs of the District.
Verification of identity and United States work authorizationmust becompleted before employment commences. The successful candidate for thispositionmust complete a fingerprinted background check with the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Employment is contingent upon clearance of the background check.
