As a Business Development Representative heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare providers discharge planners social workers and community organizations
Create and implement strategies to target nurture and grow key referral accounts
Educate referral sources on hospice services and eligibility criteria in a manner that is accurate compliant and consistent with all applicable regulations
Conduct educational and impactful sales presentations to professionals and community groups
Meet with prospective hospice patients and families to explain services and help guide them through their care decisions
Collaborate with the Executive Director/Administrator and clinical teams to optimize inquiry conversion processes and support appropriate referrals
Analyze inquiry and referral data to recommend actions that improve patient conversion and outcomes
Actively participate in business development activities aligned with growth strategies company objectives and regulatory standards
A few must-haves for our Business Development Representative:
Three (3) or more years or demonstrated success in post-acute care business development (hospice home health skilled nursing or senior care services preferred)
Strong understanding of hospice services referral networks and payor systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Ability to represent Interim with professionalism discretion and a commitment to ethical business practices
Willingness to travel locally and occasionally out of town
