ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages a team of engineers engaged in corrective and preventative maintenance of client facilities. Establishes standards and work methods; takes steps to assure quality of work and performance of employees within assigned region. Establishes plans for improving departmental operations emphasizing efficiency and economy
- Oversee all engineering functions associated with the support of critical business operations.
- Create roadmap to improve self-performance of Engineering functions in region
- Strong knowledge and experience with general building maintenance including electrical plumbing HVAC building automation systems hardware patching and painting.

- Prioritizes client driven work preventative maintenance work and special initiatives as identified.
- Understand account KPIs monitor teams performance and adjust as needed to ensure KPIs are being met.
- Assist with the development of training program for engineering personnel in region of responsibility. Including but not limited to CMMS payroll performance management mechanical/electrical systems etc.
- Determine qualification process to promote career growth within engineering teams
- Ensure all employees within region of responsibility enter timecards timely and accurately.
- Strong leadership employee relation skills coaching skills and training skills.
- Measures/assesses performance and potential of employees and recommends employees for current/future staffing need
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills being able to work effectively with all levels of personnel and client
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the leadership of all C&W engineering employees within the assigned area of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education and/or Experience):
Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED. A degree in Industrial Maintenance Engineering or Management is preferred but not required.
Experience: Possess a minimum of five years experience in the building maintenance field with experience in supervision planning / scheduling estimating and hands-on facilities maintenance preferred. Excellent oral and written skills.
Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in creating and working with documents in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with CMMS highly preferred.

Travel will be required within region approximately 15% of the time
The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
