The position will provide direct support to the production floor and report to the Production Control Manager in RFT. A successful candidate will operate within multiple shop floor controls and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production requirements. This role will work closely with the factory operations team to ensure all factory and program execution goals are met. The role will own and utilize key performance metrics to maintain system integrity and drive a high level of performance designed to support the customer experience.
What You Will Do
- Provide production floor support including replacement part management shop floor material staging Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas completion of units in shop floor and MRP systems and delivery to next step (inventory or shipment).
- Evaluate all program requirements and coordinate with operations to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer needs.
- Provide status for work in progress material availability and potential production hurdles to ensure that personnel equipment materials and services are provided as needed.
- Work daily to confirm material supply and demand.
- Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors internal shared resources and other Raytheon Technologies facilities.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies
- This position is an onsite role in our Andover MA facility.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Experience to include planning scheduling production control supply chain manufacturing operations finance project management or a related field.
- Experience with MS Office 365 (Word Excel Power Point and Outlook/Teams)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience managing/leading a team
- Experience with MRP SAP PRISM
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban SMI Continuous Flow Manufacturing
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts

More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
