Position Purpose
Join a mission-driven team at St. Joseph of the Pines where your culinary talents contribute to the well-being and happiness of our residents. As a Cook you will prepare nutritious high-quality meals that support the health and satisfaction of those we serve in a welcoming community-centered environment.
What You Will Do
Prepare meals in accordance with federal state and local standards as well as internal policies and procedures
Ensure meals are properly portioned presented and served in a timely manner
Expedite plates to ensure quality food service at all times
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and food prep areas
Collaborate with team members to meet dietary needs and enhance the dining experience for residents
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in cooking or food preparation required
Culinary degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
Strong attention to detail and motivation to deliver high-quality food service
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
