Our Mission is to promote preserve and protect the public health safety and welfare of Oregonians by establishing high standards in the practice of pharmacy and by regulating the quality and distribution of drugs in Oregon. The Oregon Board of Pharmacy accomplishes its mission through the regulation of the practice of pharmacy and the regulation and control of drug outlets involved in the manufacture production sale and distribution of legend (prescription) drugs over the counter (nonprescription) drugs controlled substance (addicting) drugs and devices and other materials as may be used in the diagnosis and treatment of injury illness and disease.

As the Pharmacy Consultant you will facilitate meetings prepare and provide presentations and support the board and the compliance department through a variety of inspection and investigative functions. In this role you will assist with agency and statewide projects where pharmacy practice experience technical expertise and communication are required. This includes research to prepare draft policy and guidance for Board consideration working closely with the Executive Director and Compliance Director assisting with statutory review drafting administrative rules meeting with legislators and representatives of the Governor and providing technical information to pharmacies other drug outlets pharmacists pharmacy technicians and the public.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in the profession of Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D); AND Five years practice experience as a licensed Pharmacist in the United States;AND an Oregon Pharmacist license.
