Job Description

North Houston Veterinary Ophthalmology (NHVO) is currently accepting applications for a full-time experienced receptionist. NHVO is a referral practice located in Spring Texas just off of Highway 45 & Spring Cypress Rd. At NHVO we understand the bond between clients and their pets. We have a board-certified specialist and a staff that share the goal of providing the most advanced and affordable eye care possible.

We are looking for:

A team player

Critical thinker who is able to work independently

Passionate about making a difference

An individual with a positive and uplifting attitude

An individual who enjoys interacting with clients and staff

An individual who can communicate tactfully and effectively in stressful or emergent situations

Requirements:

Must be well spoken

A high school diploma or equivalent

Experience in the reception arena

Must maintain a professional appearance

Must be able to clearly communicate with clients doctors and staff

Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions

Must maintain a positive and professional attitude

Must be familiar with scheduling taking payments and posting an end of day.

Must be able to work Mon-Fri 8-5

Medical benefits including health care dental vision and 401K.

Accrued vacation and sick hours upon completion of 3-month probationary period

Background and reference checks will be done on all candidates.
