Description
Currey Ingram Academy is seeking a creative entrepreneurial innovative and organized Director of Aftercare & Summer Programs to lead and problem-solve with an immediate start. This is a position with an opportunity to shape and grow our JK-8 grade school aftercare program and summer offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven school and develop programming that is safe engaging and fun.This is a 12-month position that coordinates with Division Heads teachers and outside instructors.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Strong written verbal and interpersonal skills; acutely responsive to faculty staff students and parents
- Time management and flexibility with job duties

- Creative self-starter attitude; ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to respond professionally to pressures deadlines and changing priorities in our environment
- Ability to work evenings; Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday during the school year and varies for summer camp.
- Technology skills to run the registration and billing platform.
- Classroom and behavior management knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelors degree required
- Relevant field experience
- Experience hiring and training seasonal staff
- Seek out professional development opportunities
- Required Suicide Prevention training CPR and Child Abuse Report Trainings (provided by the school)
Currey Ingram Academy is a co-ed college-preparatory day and boarding school (JK12 for day; 912 for boarding) located in beautiful Brentwood specialize in empowering students with learning differences to thrive academically socially and emotionally.
