Are You Ready to Drive Financial Excellence for a Leading Multinational Company
A top multinational organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee complex financial operations and lead accounting processes across the organization. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will take immediate ownership of financial reporting standards and position the company for sustained financial growth and compliance excellence.
What Youll Do
- Lead Financial Operations: Provide oversight and guidance to junior finance colleagues to maximize performance and ensure accurate financial reporting within tight deadlines.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Oversee financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes that support executive decision-making and business growth.
- Stakeholder & Compliance Management: Build and maintain relationships with external consultants auditors FIRS LFTZ and other regulatory bodies ensuring seamless compliance and audit processes.
- Month-End & Reporting Excellence: Ensure month-end activities are closed by the 4th working day and prepare comprehensive financial statements reports and budgets that meet both local and international standards.
- Tax & Regulatory Leadership: Guarantee all tax returns and reports are concluded and properly filed with regulatory agencies every month maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations including costing of materials invoicing stock-taking exercises insurance policies and payroll processing with statutory accuracy.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality processes adequate documentation and high-level compliance across all financial operations.

Requirements
Who You Are
- A strategic financial professional with 7-10 years post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
- A results-driven leader with proven ability to manage complex financial operations and mentor junior staff.
- An excellent communicator capable of building effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and deliver within set targets.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or HND equivalent.
- Professional qualifications: ICAN ACA ACCA or equivalent certifications.
- Strong practical knowledge of Advanced Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Power BI and accounting packages.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation budgeting and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across functions.
