We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a kind warm capable nanny to join a wonderful family in Notting Hill. This is a really super family who currently employs one of our weekend nannies. Both sides are super happy with one another. Now they are looking for a new Monday 7am til Friday 9am (4 days 2 hours) nanny to replace a loving nanny who has been working for them for several years (personal circumstances changed).
The 4 days p/w is 24/4 - this is to cover occasional babysitting or if mum needs help with one of the girls during the night if her husband is away. The girls sleep well and sleep through the night so you will not need to work during nighttime hours but mum just wants to know that nanny is prepared to work if required.
You will look after the families 3 very sweet daughters aged between 5yrs and 2yrs.
The older 2 children are at school 8.15 til 3pm and the youngest is at nursery from 9am til 2.30pm. All schools are local.
They are looking for a new nanny to join their family and stay for years.
They are flexible on start date and can accommodate either an asap start or they are fine with a beginning of September start date. Over the holidays there will be times when they are away (and maybe you also have holidays booked) They are very much looking for a long term nanny.
Their ideal scenario is that nanny lives in with them from 7am on Monday mornings (nanny is welcome to arrive on Sunday night/ evening and sleep there if better) and stays through til Friday morning 9am (after dropping the youngest at school). Then you have 3 days off and can return home.
(It could also be possible if you prefer to work until 12 noon or early afternoon if you are happy to meal prep for the weekend or do other child or non- child related tasks. Then the salary could also be higher eg. 68k)
Nanny can either live in or live out but if live out they will only accept if you live very close by. Nanny returns to their own home for the weekends.
You are not needed at weekends as they have a wonderful weekend nanny but you will be required to travel with them when the family goes on holiday (can be up to a couple of weeks).
The family feels they have been extremely fortunate to have such amazing nannies working with them and really want to find the next very special nanny.
The perfect nanny would be someone with a very helpful muck in and can-do attitude. Who genuinely loves caring and nurturing young children is interested in setting up fun creative and interesting activities both indoors outdoors. Anyone who is a clock-watcher disorganised or regularly late wont be a good fit.
This is a really lovely fun warm and happy family. They live in London and at weekends usually go to their beautiful weekend home in the Hampshire countryside.
This is a mix of Shared care and Sole charge; dad works full time mum is a freelancer and sometimes is out of the house 12 hrs a day and other times is around. Parents are genuinely lovely! You will enjoy working together with mum when she is around.
It is important to them that nanny is completely comfortable with both sole charge and shared care.
The children are usually awake between 7am and 7pm but a little flexibility (give and take) is required. Occasional babysitting is required and sometimes if both parents are away you may need to proxy parent. The attractive salary reflects this. There is plenty of down-time during the mornings when the children are at school and nursery.
The family values the importance of play in education and seeks someone who shares this philosophy. If you are passionate about early childhood development and eager to contribute to a nurturing family setting we invite you to apply to this wonderful opportunity.
Occasional travel on holidays might be requested generally to Sweden America France or Switzerland
including dressing bathing meal prep playing and activities and tidying up occasional children s laundry if required."
We are looking for "Someone positive energetic organised and who is firm but loving. Someone who would take the girls outside no matter the weather have fun activities up their sleeve tidy up as they go and be organised about clothes/packing meals etc. Someone who is nice and easy to be with on weekends as a family and who could ideally also proxy parent if my husband and I go away for a night or two."
