Medicine supply to the patient
- Assess the urgency and provide medicines as per the need of the patient prescribed by the physician or consultant.
- The pharmacist will review the prescribed orders for appropriateness & intervene where necessary to ensure the safe and appropriate use of medicines.
- Pharmacists should participate in clinical rounds make interventions and report ADRs.
- Maintain and share monthly KPI data.
- Ability to interpret and understand prescriptions formularies and drug pharmacological actions and consult and communicate with other healthcare professionals as required.
- Provide drug and poison management information to healthcare staff and patients.
- Timely refill running and review it for accuracy & ensure timely delivery.
- Maintains strict control over the distribution and usage of controlled drugs such as narcotics.
- Monthly floor stock inspection for proper storage of drugs and near-expiry drug replacement.
- Provide training to Resident/Trainee pharmacists and novice staff in pharmacy accurate and timely completion of expiry drug list every month (current and 3 months)
- Extemporaneous compounding booking and preparation. o Preparation of cytotoxic drug TPN solution and ensure timely delivery (if assigned)
Financial

- Ensure appropriate protocols charge out all patient services undertaken.
All invoices should be generated through Fotis and handed over to the patient/customer. Properly counsel the patient while dispensing. Carefully handle the cash.
IT System Management
All information you enter into the Fotis should be accurate appropriate and by agreed protocols and you must maintain all the records of the sale and purchase of the stock.
Qualifications :
Pharm-D degree
Registered with Punjab Pharmacy Council
Category A license is mandatory
Minimum 1 year of experience in a reputable hospital or retail pharmacy
Proficient in:
Outpatient services
Regulatory compliance
Technology usage in pharmacy operations
