Job Description
We are currently seeking a Backend Engineer with strong experience to join our growing team developing global video streamining platforms that handle billions of requests and millions of users. In this role you will play an integral part in designing developing and scaling backend systems that power mission-critical applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure scalable and high-performing solutions using modern cloud-native tools.

This is a Full-Time position working on a remote basis.
The annual base salary range is $80000 - $110000. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for our full list of benefits linked here.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain robust backend systems using
- Write clean testable and maintainable code
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver backend features
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications deployed on AWS
- Design and implement scalable microservices and data models
- Use Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and operations
- Collaborate on system architecture and documentation
- Ensure security best practices for backend services and data
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience.
- 3 years of backend development experience with
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proactive self-motivated and eager to understand full system architectures
- Working knowledge of Python and Java
- Hands-on experience with AWS Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience designing RESTful APIs or microservices
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (preferably Concourse CI)
- Familiarity with relational document and graph database concepts
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and containerized deployments
- Familiar with message queueing systems like RabbitMQ
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in zero-downtime deployments feature flagging and experimentation
- Background in microservice design patterns and distributed systems
- Exposure to stream processing architectures or event-driven systems
