The ideal Customer Service Representative will be responsible for performing the below job functions including but not limited to:
-Accurately enter and process purchase orders in a timely manner
-Correspond with customers and internal and external company representatives on all matters related to the order
-Diligently follow purchase orders through to completion working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that may delay timely processing
-Perform general office and clerical tasks
-Other related Customer Service/ Order Entry office duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications :
-Prior experience entering purchase orders within a manufacturing setting/sales office environment
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Professional and pleasant phone manner to service incoming and outgoing calls
-Proficiency in use of computers and related software
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Detail-oriented work ethic
-Knowledge of SAGE100 preferred but not required.
Additional Information :
Schedule: Full-time (9am-5pm) Monday-Friday
Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements the hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour; which may be increased to $21.00 per hour upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
