Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team based out of Toronto. The Project Manager will be responsible for the health safety environment quality schedule and cost performance for Pape Stations in support of the Delivery Partners for the Metrolinx Ontario Line subway project. The Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations project is one of many contracts to deliver the Ontario Line a 15.6-kilometre stand-alone rapid transit line that will connect the Ontario Science Centre to Exhibition/Ontario Place. Join us in this full-time permanent role and be a champion of diversity and inclusion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The scope of work for the Pape Station contract includes:

 


    Qualifications :

    • Relevant bachelors degree with 10-15 years project or construction management experience position(s) with responsibility for delivering infrastructure of similar scope size and complexity on a transit project.
    • Experience of working on infrastructure mega-projects for either a contractor or project management team (representing the client) experience of rail projects in urban areas is desirable.
    • Experience or working knowledge of multiple project delivery functions (e.g. engineering contracts & procurement construction testing & commissioning project controls environment safety & health quality).
    • Experience of delivering an underground station or similar scope elements as part of multi-discipline teams working on complex mega-projects.
    • Strong leadership relationship building and communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Fluent in using Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Demonstrated commitment to Environment Safety and Health (ES&H).
    • Demonstrated commitment to Zero Accident safety programs.
    • High emotional intelligence adaptability and a customer-centric mindset with the ability to lead through influence and manage challenging conversations. 
    • Leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams to achieve high performance. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
