Job Description

Join a Global Leader as Interim Financial Controller Drive Financial Excellence at Site Level

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Financial Controller to take full site responsibility for all aspects of financial control and management. In this pivotal role you will lead corporate accounting regulatory compliance and financial reporting while producing and analising business forecasts budgets and quarterly performance reviews. As a key member of the leadership team you will act as a strategic financial business partner to site management ensuring robust financial risk management across the board.

You will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely management and statutory accounts manage and develop a high-performing local finance team and ensure compliance with internal controls and Rotork Group guidelines. Your remit will include year-end close processes asset and liability visibility cash flow optimization and credit control. Youll play a central role in shaping and executing site strategy supporting the senior leadership team with insightful financial analysis and driving performance improvement initiatives.

This role also involves leading capital investment evaluations coordinating audits maintaining standard costing and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Youll champion financial awareness across the business coach and develop finance personnel and deliver ad-hoc reports and projects for senior management.

Qualifications :

Ideal Experience

  • Hold a recognised professional finance qualification
  • Post qualification experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Managed the financial impact and outcomes of a variety of business or commercial issues.
    Demonstrated the ability to review financial areas and identify control weaknesses suggesting actions for improvement.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets MS Office and used several ERP systems. Familiar with financial consolidation tools.

Critical Competencies for Success

  • Understands risk management and is able to progress business practices to reduce risk whilst improving performance levels. A firm but fair approach to identifying and helping to correct under-performance backed by sound common sense and a mastery of the numbers and their significance.
  • Organised and able to manage numerous challenging tasks whilst developing collaborative business relationships with all stakeholders of the business.
  • Coaching style to enable team members to continually develop
