We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist Biochemistry to join our esteemed client in Brighton. This role involves performing specialist biochemical analyses ensuring the accurate processing and interpretation of patient samples to support diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will work closely with clinicians pathologists and multidisciplinary teams contributing to high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires expertise in biochemistry including conducting routine and specialist analytical testing interpreting results and ensuring compliance with quality control standards. The scientist will be responsible for maintaining and operating laboratory equipment supporting quality assurance procedures and assisting in the day-to-day running of the biochemistry laboratory. Additionally they will contribute to training and competency assessments ensuring adherence to UKAS accreditation standards.
