Job Title:Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Grade:Consultant
Location:Chelmsford Essex
Working Hours:40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Chelmsford Essex. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.
What will your responsibilities be
This role is based within an inpatient setting focusing on general adult psychiatry. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality psychiatric care conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating individualised treatment plans. The successful candidate must hold Section 12 approval and be an Approved Clinician. You will be expected to act as the Responsible Clinician (RC) participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Full GMC registration (essential)
Section 12 approval
Approved Clinician status
Experience in general adult psychiatry particularly within inpatient settings
Strong clinical and communication skills
