Salary Range Commencing from $68668.60 (Grade 9 step 1) plus 11.5% superannuation.The successful candidate will have access to step increases based on competency assessment and tenure within the position.
About the Role
The position is responsible for assisting the Building Facilities team in implementing the approved capital works and maintenance programs for Councils buildings and facilities in an efficient and effective manner.
The position is associated with the use of acquired skills in a trades positions such as carpentry mechanical plumbing and drainagewith the applicant having potentially been qualified through an apprenticeship satisfying the requirements of TAFE or Apprenticeship Authorities in the chosen trade.
The position is responsible for applying expertise in the relevant trade to a variety of tasks ensuring all work complies with regulations standards and manufacturer specifications or project plans.
