MEP Project Manager (m/f/d) - Data Centers
We are seeking a skilled MEP Project Manager to lead the MEP aspects of data center construction projects ensuring systems meet design specifications technical requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan execute and deliver MEP systems for data center projects overseeing installation quality and performance testing of critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain detailed MEP project schedules budgets and resource allocations for power cooling and building systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineers contractors vendors) and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the MEP project lifecycle
- Ensure MEP systems compliance with industry standards building codes safety regulations and energy efficiency requirements
- Review technical submittals monitor MEP performance metrics evaluate system commissioning and provide regular status reports
- Facilitate MEP system documentation as-built drawings and knowledge transfer for operations teams
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or related field with several years of experience managing MEP systems in data center or mission-critical facility projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of MEP infrastructure and relevant industry standards
- Strong technical expertise in MEP system design construction methodologies and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent coordination scheduling and budget management skills with proficiency in project management software and documentation
- Proven problem-solving abilities troubleshooting experience and risk management in complex MEP environments
- Professional Engineering license and/or DCEP/DCTP certifications preferred; detail-oriented with hands-on MEP data center expertise
