We are seeking a skilled Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Ashford Kent. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start and involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and CAMHS setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert psychiatric care to children and adolescents within a community mental health setting
Lead multidisciplinary teams in the assessment diagnosis and treatment of young patients
Develop and oversee individualised care plans in line with best clinical practice
Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and safeguarding protocols
Participate in case reviews clinical audits and service development initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
Full GMC registration
Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry)
Proven experience in CAMHS and CMHT environments
Previous experience in a Consultant role within the NHS
