Clinical Nurse Manager - Medical-Surgical Unit Leadership Opportunity

Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager leads and empowers our nursing team while ensuring exceptional patient care standards and operational efficiency. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership acumen to create a positive high-performing unit culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and daily operational oversight of the Medical-Surgical unit
- Develop mentor and evaluate nursing staff performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Drive quality metrics and patient satisfaction outcomes
- Manage unit budget and resource allocation
- Implement evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives
- Foster collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in strategic planning and unit-based initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license or compact license
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years acute care RN experience
- 2 years recent Med-Surg leadership experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Advanced specialty certification (required within first year)
- Strong clinical and operational decision-making abilities
- Excellence in team leadership and communication
