Job Description
- Plans directs and coordinates transportation needs of The Village at Brookwood along with other transportation staff.
- Provides safe and reliable transportation to and from assigned appointments trips and outings.
- Maintains safety cleanliness and functionality of company vehicles.
- Adheres to DOT guidelines and maintains transportation logs for each vehicle and ensures compliance with records.
- Reports all unusual conditions behaviors and/or resident reactions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Ensures that driver orientation includes a description of the facility its purposes and organization the drivers role at TVAB; provides information regarding regulations ethics standards etiquette and patient needs.
- Supports the independent living the assisted living and the skilled nursing life enrichment coordinators in transportation to programs.
- Discusses and ascertains the transportation service needs with administration and creates develops and implements programs to meet guidelines.
- Adheres to TVAB policies and procedures the confidentiality dignity and well-bring of al residents and staff of TVAB.
- Valid NC Drivers License
- At least 1-2 years of practical experience in transportation coordination or equivalent transportation experience.
- BLS (CPR) American Red Cross
