Job Description

The Position:

Neelands is searching for aRefrigeration Pre-Apprenticeto join our team at the Burlington Ontario location. The candidate will work alongside fellow pre apprentices and warehouse staff. Hour of work will be 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload new and left-over materials from outgoing and incoming trucks
  • Pick orders as per job requirements
  • Assist with shipping and receiving or parts
  • Assist with delivery of parts when needed
  • Assist with organizing and cleaning the shop

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with Grade 12 Math and English and Grade 11 or Grade 12 Chemistry or Physics
  • College Diploma in a HVAC/R Pre-Apprentice Course
  • English language proficiency (read/write/speak)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
    Valid G license with a clean driver abstract
  • G3 gas license is considered an asset
