Overview:
This is a night shift position working from 7P-7A with the following work schedule: Week 1 Sunday Wednesday Thursday. Week 2 Monday Tuesday Friday and Saturday.
Reporting to the Process Unit Manager this position is responsible for leadership and coordination of all activities on their assigned shift(s). The position requires a strong ability to coach and mentor teams while assuring the efficient utilization of a talented workforce and equipment. The position is a coach toassociates to coordinate production to meetsafety quality workflow manning material handling and maintenance goals asnecessary to ensure efficient continuous production. Lean Manufacturing techniques will be used to drive continuous improvement. The Shift Coordinator will be required to be present at shift change meetings. The end goal is to develop high performing self-directed work teams within manufacturing cells.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
The work environment is a typical manufacturing floor setting that requires safety glasses steel-toed safety shoes and hearing protection. The manufacturing floor is climate controlled; however the temperature will vary based on external ambient conditions. This position requires extended standing and walking on concrete for up to 12 hours per workday. The employee must be able to talk and hear while wearing hearing protection. The employee will occasionally pick up items weighing up to 35 pounds and be able to apply the same force to roll reels. Color vision and the ability to adjust focus from near to far are needed to perform the functions of this role.
